PPE Portraits

I work in a local Emergency Department as a mental health therapist. When CoVid-19 hit, my co-workers and I couldn't tell each other apart in all our PPE. There was the personal flair of goggles and homemade caps and masks, but then we had to look --really look--at each other's eyes. These are faces that are alongside me every day, but suddenly I was seeing them anew and seeing --really seeing--how they put themselves on the line for others. Not just during CoVid-19 but every time they show up to work.
